 But really... Your Z is going to be in a shop for a couple of months? Why so long? If it will have some of its guts out for most of that time, you don't have anything to worry about. If it won't, you could install a remote fuel cut-off switch, but then you either have to come by to switch it on whenever the shop guys need to turn the car on, or trust them with knowing where it is. Or you could just have them remove the fuel pump fuse whenever they're not working on it. Okay, I'm out of ideas.
